finally i got a camera again. but this time a better one. hwy should it make otherwise sense. you know forward thinking, instead of nostalgic embedment.

the camera is good, really good, and really expensive. my heart was a bit crying but just a bit- funny how i can get upset of 50 rupees being charged to much by a rickshaw driver but do not moan a single time paying 50 euros more or less for  buying a  camera abroad.

but i live again. it is amazing.

i can remember the first time i got a camera. i was 7 years old. a red one. plastic, very easy to use. the first role i totally missused, cause did not get the idea of when the film is rewind. so i just opened it anyways and half of the film was exposed. i closed it quickly, cause that was what i knew, don't expose film to sun.

it was at a friends place, in the forest, on her farm, the images i still have, in one of my boxes. i can still remember all the images i took. i think so. or the good ones.

 photography is the only thing which can hold my mind and body together. everything else bores me after a while, makes me more distracted than attracted. before, while, after i am shooting.

a pretty egocentric way of looking at it. but i also like to communicate, say what i think, show what i think. that is not even better.

the best thing about photography: lines, light, colour, texture, dipping inside, dreaming, staying, walking around and leaving with traces. also simplicity and complexity inside.  exploration, surprise and longing.

not try to convince, not to show off, pretend. at least try.

photography is good in pretending. do people actually still believe in it?

most of the time delivering a message with just photography is not possible. i think. i need text.

without text i do not believe. funny, cause text is even more abstract.

Text is more abstract, but because of that it gives you opportunity, to slip out, off, into another directions. reading a text gives me one mind, an opinion, i can still have mine. photography sometimes narrows down, tells you what to think. i do not like that.
