they bought the space. a far too cheap prize. a good deal, says a friend of mine.

her dad bought the place, a factory, on the outskirts but still quite central of a nearby bigger city. koetzting. 7000 people living there. that is a good amount more than my village has.

the factory is old. and closed since a long long time.

main purpose of the factory was to produce wooden toys.  briks in different colours, little cars, littel figure for board games.

started of at the beginning of the 20th century the factory used the idea of the area. to make something out of forest.  and they did.

and they were so succesfull that they imported into the whole world.


one time on an airport i could see their toys. and a german board game called settler ahs the figures from heros. i was proud.


in the early 21st century is slowly went down. mismanagement or change in time. nobody knows.

what do you do with a building like that? taking a way and replacing it with new building, selling the land, renewing the inside?


my friend and me talk. a lot of  ideas. but what do you want? and what can you do?


lot of aspects and a house is a house. not like a rented apartment.


i thought a lot about having y won place. just out of fun. i decided quickly. i never could do that. not now.


the place around the factory would be perfect for barbequeing and having a party. maybe that would be a good start.
