one things more about the riverside. they are working class people who live her, mixed with old inhabitants of the upper class, who earned their money with trading and factory work.

if you go there it is messy, a lot of dust all over the place, a lot of smells, coming from different houses. people all over the place. working. it is an area for dealing with material. kids are hanging around, playing in between, helping, on and off.

slumscyscraper- they are not as big- not even close. but tehy are quite high. two levels. sometimes three. the walls made out of corrugated iron, the structure out of pipes. never been in there. people coming outside, sometimes have a bit of balcony, sometimes just because of hanging up their clothes to dry.

they build it by themselves.

the riverside also has a harbour. after the incredible cray market. after the working area. right at the end it feels. the harbour is for ships going down and up the rivers, and little boats going over the river to the other side.

the boats are coming and leaving the whole day. waiting along side the bar, being watched by a guy and entranced by a little wooden stick the big ships are waiting to be empty, get filled up and leave again. they are old, in different colors, inside a few benches. in between places to eat, just on little tables.
